Application for S.1 Discretionary Places (Admission in September 2026)

  1. Application Forms Distribution
  • Date：15 Nov 2025 (Sat) - 16 Jan 2026 (Fri)
  • The application form can be obtained from our General Office or downloaded here.

 

  1. Application Forms Submission
  • Date：2 Jan 2026 (Fri) - 16 Jan 2026 (Fri) (Both dates inclusive)
  • Office Hour: Mon - Fri: 09:00-12:00 & 14:00-16:00, Sat: 09:00-12:00
  • Completed application form together with all necessary documents should be returned to our General Office or submitted via the SSPA e-Platform.
  • Submission of application by post will NOT be accepted.
  • Please bring along the following items when submitting the application in person:
  • Completed application form
  • Photocopy of school reports for Primary 5 and Primary 6
  • Photocopy of certificates, awards and / or proof of extra-curricular activities
  • Application form for S.1 Discretionary Place issued by EDB

(School Copy and EDB Copy of the application form will be collected. Parents can keep the Parent’s Copy bearing school chop.)

  • Two self-addressed envelopes with stamps, and student’s name in both Chinese and English
  • Original and photocopy of student’s identify documents (e.g., Identity Card, birth certificate, or passport) to verify the student’s identity and eligibility for admission to public sector schools
  • Please upload the following items when submitting the application via the SSPA e-Platform:
  • Scanned copy of completed application form
  • Scanned copy of school reports for Primary 5 and Primary 6
  • Scanned copy of certificates, awards and / or proof of extra-curricular activities
  • Scanned copy of student’s identify documents (e.g., Identity Card, birth certificate, or passport) to verify the student’s identity and eligibility for admission to public sector schools
  • Recommendation letters from primary schools are NOT required.

 

  1. Interview
  • Date：7 Mar 2026 (Sat)
  • All applicants will be invited for an interview. Notification letter will be sent in February.
  • If applicants do not receive the letter by 12 Feb 2026, please contact our General Office within 13-16 Feb 2026 office hour.
  • Individual interview will be arranged and conducted in both English and Cantonese.
  • As the interview schedule is very tight, the assigned date and time of the interview cannot be changed. For enquiries, please contact our General Office at 2604 9762.
  • Should the interview be cancelled due to school suspension announced by EDB, we will announce the updated arrangement on our school website.

 

  1. School Admission Result Announcement
  • Date: 31 Mar 2026 (Tue)
  • Our school will notify parents of all successful applicants by phone and letter. Exclude those in waiting list and unsuccessful applicants, and this is NOT the final allocation result. Parents do not need to reply to our school on whether they would accept the offers.
  • Parents who submitted application via the SSPA e-Platform may also view notifications for successful applicants via the platform on the same day.

 

  1. EDB Allocation Result Announcement
  • Date: 7 Jul 2026 (Tue)
  • The results of Discretionary Places and Central Allocation will be released by the EDB. Students should report to the school to complete the registration procedure.

 

  1. Points to note
  • Each student may apply to NOT more than two secondary schools, otherwise his/her chance of acquiring a discretionary place will be forfeited.
  • All documents submitted by the applicants will not be returned and will be destroyed after completion of the admission procedures.

 

  1. Personal Information Collection Statement
  • The provision of personal data on applying for a Secondary One place is voluntary.
  • Personal data collected will be used in matters relating to the purpose mentioned above.
  • You do not have an obligation to provide us with your personal data. However, if you fail to provide the data requested, it will not be possible to process your application.
  • The personal data collected may also be disclosed to the Education Bureau and other Government branches/departments.
  • You should authorize the school in advance in writing for releasing these personal data requested by parties other than those mentioned above.
  • You have the right to request access to or correction of personal data provided on the application form in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Please come to our General Office in person for data access and correction requests.
