AIMS

  1. To develop the students' understanding of the basic operations of a computer system and computer applications software.
  2. To help the students in applying concepts and skills related to computer and information technology to solve real life problems.
  3. To develop the students' skills in solving problems systematically.

STRENGTHS

  1. Students got excellent results in various inter-schools ICT competitions last year.
  2. The computer literacy syllabus for junior form is dynamic and is revised every year.
  3. Teachers frequently attend different professional training to equip with lastest technology.
  4. Junior Form (S1-3) students have three computer lessons every 10-day cycle.

OPPORTUNITIES

  1. With the help of EDB School-based Curriculum Development (Secondary) Section, the school-based curriculum is fine tunning.
  2. Some faculties in the universities have treated ICT as a prerequisite subject in admission comparing with other elective subjects.
  3. Programming skills are advaocated the Fourth Strategy on Information Technology in Education.
